I am a CS student with a focus on applied mathematics, interested in problems that map local interactions to complex global behavior at the intersection of computation, physics, and biology. My interests include emergence as a process, models of collective animal behavior, evolutionary computation, graph-based analyses, cellular automata, and the mathematical frameworks used to analyze dynamical systems. I am particularly interested in understanding how definitions, frameworks, and scale of analysis can be refined, their failure modes, and their applicability to new problem domains.

- Kellogg Biological Station REU with the Klausmeier–Litchman Lab (Summer 2026): eco-evolutionary modeling of predation, species turnover, and structural stability under seasonal temperature forcing.

Weber State LIGHT Research: ALAN and Bird Migration ♦ Spring 2026
- Served on the DATA team for a multi-team field study examining artificial light at night (ALAN) and its effects on bird migration, with contributions spanning field data collection and the study’s data infrastructure.
- Designed data infrastructure for the study: file and field naming conventions, a printable + web-accessible reference sheet, Google Drive folder architecture, team-specific data uptake SOP checklists, and the nightly data submission form.
- Presented and justified the research to the President’s Council at Weber State University.
- Andrushko's Butterflies: Assisted with digitizing a museum Lepidopteran collection, including specimen handling, workflow optimization, and data transcription (Fall 2025)
